tmain is different from everything else

TmaiN Amps born in 2014 producing tube amplifiers, speaker cabinets and pedal effects, all intended for the musical world, especially the guitarists.

Manufactured in Malaga Costa del Sol, they start from the premises contracted by the experience working with local musicians for a decade, attending to the concerns and frustrations related to their equipment (Instruments and amplifiers of all periods and styles).

These demands could only be satisfied with completely new designs, different to the traditional ones, while at the same time continuing the legacy and sound footprint left by those wich have been the foundation of the music during the last 70 years.

TmaiN Amps is the answer for the musicians that require tools wich satisfy their actual demands in sound, ergonomics, versatility and above all, authenticity.

tubes

Each tube of an amplifier has its own characteristics and choosing a single manufacturer or model can ruin the result. The differences between tubes go beyond gain, tone and noise: it is essential that the combination is perfect for use in any situation. Therefore, each amplifier we manufacture can mount different brands and models of tubes that we choose carefully to obtain the best result depending on their function and sound, testing them one by one. Depending on the preferences of each client we can make a personalized selection that fits playing styles, musical styles or personal preferences.

cabinets

With our unique design developed during years of testing, using different thickness of birch and okume plywoods, special wood joints without screws and reinforcements to fine tune the sound and reduce unwanted vibrations to create a cabinet of incredible and unmatched qualities.

Precision and clarity in the notes at any volume, both in open and closed environments and a great sound radiation in all directions, obtaining a balanced sound all over the amplifier and not only in front of it. Making it unnecesary to raise or tilt the speaker cabinet to listen to it: the whole band and the audience will enjoy the same sound as you.

CIRCUITS

With traditional sounds in mind, but from a new ergonomics perspective: we design our circuits from scratch. With simple and intuitive controls that are usable throughout its range, that allows to create different sound palettes and have a sensitivity that makes it easy to adjust even during a live performance.
Our design highlights the virtues and peculiarities of your instruments responding to the controls of your guitar: turn the volume and/or tone controls to modify dinamics and gain of the amplifier or switch pickups to use different sound balances.

CHASsIS

With our own design and manufacture, we ensure that every component fit perfectly in a very small enclosure without generating unwanted noise or temperature problems, while being accessible for maintenance or repairs.

wiring

Noises are annoying, but they also worsen our perception and tire our hearing. That is why the wiring is so important for us that we take care of selecting the right one according to its function, length, twisting, the joints, the insulation, the path that it follows, other cables or nearby components, etc. Our priority is to be efficient and quiet, and if possible, pretty.
